Vishwakarma
Diwas is celebrated in India on the 17th of September every year.
Though according to Indian Mythology the date changes every year according to
the Hindu calendar. A great sage of time immemorial Vishwakarma is considered
to be the son of Lord Brahma, referred to as the divine architect of this whole
universe. He is variously described in ancient folklore as the god of
architecture and creation.
Vishwakarma puja is inspirational
for many especially for the working class, to resolve, to create new products
and increase their productivity. On this day machines are worshiped and
according to mythology Vishwakarma is known to be the architect of the entire
universe including the heaven and the earth. He is also the man credited for
creating the missiles used in mythological era. He is also known as the creator
of “VASTU SHASTRA”, the science which is popular all over the world today. It
is a great day for engineers, architects and all industrialists. The
Vishwakarma community also celebrates this day with great joy and enthusiasm.
