Teacher’s day is celebrated all over the country on the 5th of September every year. It is a day dedicated to Dr.Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, a great academic philosopher and the second Indian President. Students of our college also celebrated the day with great enthusiasm in honour of teachers. The complete event was planned by students along with faculty co-ordinators. It was a two hour event which began with the lightning of lamps followed by Saraswati Vandana. Many colourful and energetic dances of various forms were then performed. A different kind of dance form “MURGA DANCE” was performed by 1st year students. A skit named ‘PATHSHALA’ was also performed which left us all a moral that we should always respect our teachers.
                “MATA PITA GURU DEVTA“
As it is rightly said that mother is the greatest teacher of all. Paying a tribute to mother and filling the audience mind with melodies of music a song “Lukka Chuppi” was performed.
A felicitation ceremony was also held during the event in which various teachers were praised for their hard work and dedication by the dignitaries.
The Chairman of GTC Mr Anand Singhal addressed the gathering and through his motivational words inspired everyone present.
The joyous evening was binded up by a student of GTC who recited a self-written poem, followed by the vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Deepesh Chandwani a student of GTC.
