Shiv Puran Ki Kathyen - episode4

Narad comes. Says he is sorry about Sati. Says she is ignorant of Shiv Leela. Shakti had to establish an example for all women in the form of Sati. Shaki is always immortal. She will now come to us as Shakti. This is Shiv Leela. Says that Virni should go and meet Shiv in Kailash.

Virbhadra reports to Shiv. Vishnu, Brhma, Indra standing before Shiv.  Virni comes and prays for ending the pain of Daksh. Shiv says he has no enmity with Daksh. Says he will revive Daksh. Shiv goes to Yagyashala with brhma and Vishnu and Virni. Shiv revives Daksh  with a goat head and called Ajamukh. Shiv says now he can complete the yagya.

Shiv takes Sati’s body and ashes and goes up in sky. All approach Brhma and Saraswati for soothing Shiv. Brhma and all then go to Vishnu. Brhma requests Vishnu to destroy the body of Sati by his Sudarshan Chakra. We have to end the Sati moha of Shiva. Vishnu prays to Shiva for guidance. Shiva appears in his Virat form.  All Shiv leelas have some objects. Says whatever you would do would be acceptable. The sudarshan Chakra was sent. It touched the feet of Shiv and then Sati. Then a light and sparks went towards 51 places where Shakti Peeths were established. In these places Shakti is still resides.

Shakti gives darshan to Narad. When will you take another avtar. She says after a long time when Shiv needs me in that state. Shiv’s ganas are wailing.

When Mata Shakti will appear again. Shiv said ask Brhma. They go to Brahm. Shakti will take another avatar definitely but when should not be disclosed.

Tarkasur will be the reason for the next avatar of Shakti, who is doing tapasya at this time.Bajang Varangi’s son art thou. I am the manas putra of Brhma ie Narad. Tarkasur says that he is doing tapa to win swarga from Indra.

Tarkasur gets a vardan from Brhma that if at all he should be killed by none other than the son of Shiva.

Tarkasur then captures swarga and drives out Indra from there. Narada request Shiv to do something. Shiv sends him to Brhma. They go to Brhma. Tarkasur vadh is the answer. Brhma also admonishes Indra for not doing his duty. For indulging in wealth and women. Indra  asks forgiveness. A vardaan is operative till the stock of good works lasts. Thereafter the impact of vardaan dwindles.

Shiv will marry. And from his son the death of Tarkasur will come.

Once the wife of Himalaya maina did the tapasya for Shakti to get a daughter. Shakti appeared. Maina asked that in next incarnation she should be born as her daughter. The boon was granted.

Indra is now sent by Brahma to Maina to start aradhna  for the birth of Shakti as her daughter. For the fulfillment of the vardana that was given earlier. Maina  agrees to start the aradhana.

On the other side Shiv is in Samadhi. Nandi is worried when Shiv will come out of Samadhi to think of marrying again a human form of Shakti and for giving birth to a son. Narad comes. Informs that Mother Shakti is going to take birth from Maina. Asks when that will happen. Shiv says that he has to wait.

Himalayas palace. Rishi Garg arrives. Says that a son will be born to him. Maina is doing aradhna in forest. Himalaya comes to Maina. Says about rishi garg’s prediction. She requests that she may be allowed to do aradhna alone. Himalaya agrees.

Shakti appears on a lion. Addresses Maina. Maina asks for her as a daughter. But first she would be the mother of a son as per the prediction of Rishi Garg.

Nandi and Suyasha marriage anniversary. All go to Shiv. Celebrations with prayers of Om Namah Shivaya.

Vardan and Curse are actually the result of past Karmas. And therefore there fructification has to wait for a suitable time. A man’s good karma becomes a vardaan. For one’s difficulty one should regard himself as responsible.



Suryavanshi MahaRaja Maandhata’s court is shown. He says that vairagya has come in his mind.   Ambrish and Muchkund are the princes. Wishes to step down from the throne. He says that now on the bank of Narmada he would spend time in the aradhna of Shiv.  Mandhata makes his eldest son Muchkund as the new king in his place. Maharaj Muchkund ke jai.

Maandhata begins his aradhana on an island in Narmada river. Narad passes from there.

Maina gives birth to a son.  Janmotsav is organized at the behest of Himalaya Raj. Indra and Shachi also come. Vaau dev and Agni dev also come. Vindyachal Maharaj comes. Sumeru Parvat Maharaja is also present.  Sumeru and Vidyachal fight that they are the biggest hill. Sumeru Raj leaves in a huff. Narad motivates Vindyachal to do the aradhna of Shiv.

Shiv appears to Maandhata. Says that this island will be named as Maandhata and all the stones of Narmada will be fit for making shivling. And Narmada river will be the river along which all tirthas will be shivteerthas.

Shiv appears to Vidhyachal. Vidhyachal says that he want to be higher than Sumeru. I am happy but I am surprised at your request which is selfish. One should desire only something in purlic interest. You must give up this desire to be higher than Sumeru. Your desire if granted would divide bharat into two. So ask some other vardaan.  But Vindyachal insists and then Shiv grants the desire.  He became higher and higher but became very egoistic.

Inhabitants of Sumeru are worried and they come in the shadow of Vindyachal. Agstya muni is called to Shiv. Pride and ego has made Vindhyachal a Daanav. Now to get him on the proper path is your job. You should go from north to south. On way when Vidyachal comes he will bow his head to you. When he does so you tell him to wait in that position till he returns. On going to south you never return to north so that vindyachal will remain always small.
